This unique offering is in response to your expressed needs for professional development offerings at the secondary level that get to the heart of the instructional process through “hands on activities”and “personal skill development” in a variety of curricular experiences.

Traditional programs in Health and Physical Education are re-designing and re-structuring their curricular offerings and instructional strategies to better meet the health and wellness needs of their students.

This,  4th  Summer Institute is designed to initiate a progressive, programmatic shift toward the “wellness model approach” of contemporary health & wellness activities for you, your students in grades 6-12  and your athletes.

At the beginning of the week the future direction of “quality” health & physical education programs will be explored and an understanding of wellness programming examined. As the week progresses you will be involved in activities with a variety of high-intensity, experienced and qualified instructors.

The mid week offerings include:

Grants, Fitness Centers and Instant Activities

Adventures Activities & Wellness
